Dr Cindy Cabeleira
Principal/ Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist

Since 2014, Cindy has held a number of clinical positions within the WA Department of Health and worked in private practice. Having previously managed the Neuropsychology Service for the state-wide WA Adult Epilepsy Service for 5 years, she also held a clinical position at the State Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service at the Shenton Park Campus of Royal Perth Hospital prior to its closure, and has worked at the Neurosciences Unit (NSU) at Graylands Hospital.
She works with adults across the lifespan, from middle adolescence (age 16+) to older adulthood and undertakes general neuropsychological / clinical assessments (including diagnostic ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments as well as those to assist with differentiating between and diagnosing various types of dementia and identifying cognitive deficits in various neurological and psychological/psychiatric conditions). Additionally, she has experience performing decision-making capacity, fitness for work and other medicolegal assessments and has extensively worked with culturally diverse, and socially disadvantaged groups as well as those with various types of disabilities.
Cindy’s areas of special interest include: dementia, epilepsy, brain injury, and decision-making capacity. She believes in obtaining a holistic view of every individual and their unique history and set of circumstances to identify the best strategies and treatment recommendations to enable clients to move forward and improve their functioning and quality of life.
As well as having her own private practice, Cindy also continues to work with her colleagues at Dr Mandy Vidovich and Associates where she undertakes assessments for workers compensation, medicolegal and forensic purposes.
